Building & Using Queues
Within DealTrak, the Pending Deals page shows you all the proposals in the system that are currently being worked on. The All Deals page shows you all proposals (even those that have been finalised).
Building Queues allows you to build an active list of proposals based on criteria that you choose. For example, if you only wanted to look at proposals at specific status’ from a small selection of dealers.

To build a queue, you need to click on the Queues tab.
From here, you will need to select your criteria. You can select all entries in a criteria (using the select all check box), a single entry or multiple entries. You must ensure that you have selected something within each criteria.
| |
You will then need to select a communication option. If you are not wanting to utilise the bulk communication tool, then you can select Not Communicating. If you select the option for Marketing and a proposal doesn’t have the marketing permission checked for the method (SMS, Email, Phone or Letter) you select it will not show in the queue.
The last step when building a queue, is to select the date range you want the system to look at. If you leave the start and end date blank, the queue will look at all proposals in the system. If you select a specific date, it will show the proposals that correspond to those dates. The final option is a date range (year to date, last 7 days etc.). If you pick one of these, whenever you build the queue it will use that. For example, if you run a Last Month date range in February, it will show proposals from January. Running the same queue in March shows proposals from February.
Once you have picked all your build options, you can either run the queue as a one off or save it to use whenever required. When saving a queue, you can either save it solely for the creator’s use, have multiple users able to access it or make it available to all users. If you save the queue profile, it will be available by hovering over the Queues tab and selecting the relevant option.
When you have built a queue, you can filter your results further using the available options. You can also select multiple proposals and update the Proposal Status simultaneously. You are able to access the proposals in the same way as you would from the Pending & All Deals pages. |
