Communication Template Management
If you have the communication module live within your DealTrak system, you can create and manage templates.
These templates can be used within your communications module, so you don’t have to keep re-creating the same information.

The Template Manager is under the Tools tab. | |
This page shows you the templates that are currently set up within your system. It shows the name of the template, whether it’s for service or marketing communications, if it’s disabled and when it was last updated. The templates are split based on the method of communication. | |
You can edit existing templates, by clicking the edit icon next to the relevant entry. Or you can create a new template by clicking the button in the top right hand corner. | |
When creating a template you must:
You can then add your message. This functions in the same way as the main communication page, allowing to insert tags/links etc. | |
To create a header or footer, you need to go the My Branch section under Branch Control. You can create your header and footer here, and when saved will show in communications which use the Branch Head or Branch Footer tags. | |
The My Branch section is also where you can add extra email addresses and SMS headers, so you can have more options in regards to where a communication shows as coming from. You can have as many different email addresses/SMS headers as is required for your process. |
