Auto Send Guide

What is Auto Send ?- The DealTrak system allows you to create a series of rules which govern the order in which lenders are available for a proposal. Utilising this function means that the users will skip the optimiser page, and only be allowed to send a proposal to the lender named in the rule. You can build multiple different rules, based on multiple different criteria.

This guide shows the process from a user from the site’s perspective.

Click on the customer's name to open the proposal and you will be presented with the ‘Proposal Summary Page’.

Once all the sections have been completed/filled out, click the Next button.

While the Autosend is active, the user will be directed to the ‘Send Screen’ after clicking the Next button from the 2nd step of this guide above.

This will display the first lender option based on the vehicle being new or used.

If the ‘Proposal Valid’ and ‘Figures Valid’ column have a green tick underneath them, this means that the proposal can be sent to the lender by clicking the Send button as it meets their criteria.

Should a Red Cross be displayed, you can click on it to reveal what is stopping the proposal from being sent to a lender.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The pop-up window will show the reason why the proposal cannot be submitted (e.g. The  lender requires the customers email address

Click on the red error message and you will be taken to that section of the proposal where amendments can be made so that it lines up with the lender requirements. Then click Save and Exit.

After clicking the ‘Send’ button, it will take a few moments to receive a response from the lender system. 

- If an ‘Approved’ or ‘Declined’ status is returned by the lender, the autosend will stop as it has completed a successful submission to the lender, regardless of if it was accepted or not.

If an ‘Error Sending’ status is returned, either click on the Reset Proposal Icon next to the Re-Send button or click View underneath the ‘Lender Conditions’ tab to display the error message from the lender.

The Autosend will then move on to the lender if an error sending status is returned.

Should you require the Autosend to be disabled, your F&I Managers have the required Admin Access to action this for you. This is something they wish to monitor internally and have asked us not to turn this off, if a site contacts the Platform Support at DealTrak to query this.
