How to Reset Credentials

If you are having issues logging into the DealTrak system or the Client Portal, you can reset your credentials in the following ways:

The Client services team are unable to reset user credentials unless reported via the Client Portal

User Management

Users with the "User Management" Permission can also reset your PIN & Password.

To reset your password for the DealTrak system, click the Reset my password button on the main login screen.

You will need to enter your Dealer ID and username.

If you do not know these, you will need to raise an issue through the client portal, and the CS team will get you the relevant information.

You will then receive an email to reset your password.

When resetting your password, you will require your 4 digit PIN.

To reset your password for the Client Portal (help.dealtrak.co.uk) you just need to click the Forgot your password? link.

You will need to enter your username for the Client Portal, which is your email address. This will then send a link directly to you to reset the password.

To reset your PIN, you will need to request this through the Client Portal.

When logged in to the Portal, select the Pin/Password Reset option.

 

You will be required to enter your username, and a brief description of your issue.

Once entered, click the Create button.

Once the Client Services team have reset your PIN, they will inform you.
