Updating Proposal Status

To finalise a deal with DealTrak, you will need to update the proposal status.

Please Note

Changing the status of a proposal to Paid Out (not delivered), Paid Out (delivered, Cancelled, Declined all lenders or Unsuitable Offer will move the proposal out of the pending deals queue.

To update the status on a proposal, you need to access the Update Proposal Status screen.

You can do this:

From within the proposal, using the Go To tab or From the All or Pending deals page, by clicking on the status in the Proposal Status column.

 

From this screen you can change the proposal status using the dropdown menu.

If you change the status to a Paid Out status, you will get extra options to confirm the figures on the proposal.

Please Note

To set a deal as Paid Out, you must have a sales person assigned to it

 

You can also assign or change the assigned Sales Person from this screen.

 

You can alter the Delivery Date and Paid Out Date (providing the proposal has been set as Paid Out)

 

You can assign or change both a dealer & introducer, including a specific contact.

 

You can also add comments to the proposal.

Brokers Only

Adding the comment from this screen allows you to send a note back to a dealer using the DealTrak system.

When you have made all the relevant changes, you need to click the save button to store the information against the proposal.
